Boris Johnson visited Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the Zaporizhzhia region

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited the positions of the 65th Brigade on the Zaporizhzhia sector of the front.

This was reported by Serhiy Tomilenko, head of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, on Facebook.

According to him, the British newspaper Daily Mail published the photos as part of a report by Johnson himself, who previously began his career as a journalist.

“I can finally publish exclusive photos from Boris Johnson’s trip to the front lines. Today, the British newspaper Daily Mail is publishing an extensive report by Boris himself—a man who began his career as a journalist—from the Zaporizhzhia sector. He visited the positions of the 65th Brigade,” Tomilenko noted.

He also said that news of the trip came from Daily Mail war correspondent Richard Pendlebury, who returned from Ukraine with photographer Jamie Weisman after working on the front lines.

According to Tomilenko, Johnson personally initiated the trip to the front lines.

In his article for the Daily Mail, Johnson described his impressions of Zaporizhzhia, specifically noting the city’s potential and its historical ties to American infrastructure involvement.

“Driving along the city’s wide boulevards, I felt its potential and the wealth that awaits its return… One day, I hope and believe, this American-Ukrainian partnership will be restored,” he wrote.

He also mentioned Ukrainian servicemen, including a drone pilot with the call sign “Coconut,” ping-pong coach Yuriy, and 24-year-old communications officer Dasha from Kramatorsk.

According to Tomilenko, after 48 hours on the front lines, Johnson stated that he was even more convinced of Ukraine’s victory.
