Due to Russian attacks, consumers in seven regions of Ukraine were left without power

As of the morning of September 11, power outages affecting consumers in seven regions of Ukraine have been reported due to new Russian shelling.

"As a result of Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling, there are new power outages as of this morning in the Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions. Where safety conditions permit, emergency repair work is already underway," the statement said.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Friday, electricity consumption was 6.3% higher than the previous day. This is due to cloudy weather in parts of western Ukraine, which reduces the efficiency of residential solar power plants.

Ukrenergo advises shifting peak electricity consumption to the period when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently—from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This was reported by NEC "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.
