Russia reported a massive nighttime attack by Ukrainian drones
On the morning of September 12, the Ministry of Defense of the terrorist Russian Federation confirmed a large-scale strike by Ukrainian drones on the territory of the aggressor country. The Russian ministry reported that drones had attacked several regions simultaneously.
The enemy’s defense ministry specified that it had repelled the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces between 8:00 p.m. on September 11 and 8:00 a.m. on September 12.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that its air defense forces allegedly intercepted and destroyed 230 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones.
The enemy has not disclosed the exact number of drones deployed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces during the latest airstrike. The Russian Ministry of Defense only specified that Ukrainian UAVs were shot down over the following territories:
- Astrakhan Oblast;
- Belgorod Oblast;
- the Bryansk region;
- the Volgograd region;
- the Voronezh region;
- Kursk Oblast;
- Lipetsk Oblast;
- Oryol Oblast;
- Penza Oblast;
- Rostov Oblast;
- Samara Oblast;
- Saratov Oblast;
- the temporarily occupied Crimea.
They also reported the alleged interception of drones over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
As a reminder, it was reported this morning that a chemical plant in Tolyatti was struck by the Ukrainian Armed Forces this time. According to the latest information, the facility in question is “KuibyshevAzot.” In Taganrog, according to OSINT sources, several fires have broken out. In particular, there are reports of a fire in a storage tank on the grounds of a local automobile plant.
Prior to this, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated: Russia, as an aggressor state, will face a response if it launches strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure this winter.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the results of Ukrainian long-range strikes aimed at weakening Russia’s capacity to wage war against Ukraine. In particular, Ukrainian strikes hit targets in Dagestan and Udmurtia.
