Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov, a special advisor to the president, analyzed the Russian ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv on the night of July 19. He emphasized that enemy agents continue to operate, so it is necessary to be cautious and avoid mistakes.
According to him, “this time, Russia targeted industrial facilities in Kyiv (which have been in operation since the Soviet era).”

In some leased workshop measuring 10 by 20 meters, they might be doing some small-scale subcontracting work. Things like antennas for electronic warfare or propellers for FPV drones. The plant’s management has no idea this is happening. Information leaks to the enemy, and the enterprise takes a hit.”
“Another scenario is when someone uses the factory grounds as a temporary, free warehouse for items that aren’t supposed to be stored there. The company might not be doing anything at all—the main thing is that it’s in Kyiv. Kyiv needs to be intimidated. A factory is a perfect excuse for that,” the presidential adviser emphasized.
“We must understand that the enemy’s agents are at work, and we need to be very careful and avoid making mistakes,” Beskrestnov warned.
On the night of July 19, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and eight others were wounded as a result of the attack. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the capital.
Throughout the day on July 17, Russian troops launched strikes on Kharkiv and 29 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two people were killed and 18 others were wounded in the shelling; among the casualties were five children.
Throughout the day on July 17, the Chernihiv region came under attack from enemy drones. Fires broke out in several districts at once, but Ukrainian rescue workers have already extinguished them.
