Ukraine’s Military Intelligence publishes 3D model of Iskander‑K and names manufacturers of 9M727 missiles
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense (HUR) has released detailed information on the production cooperation behind the 9M727 cruise missiles, which are part of the Iskander‑K operational‑tactical missile system.
On the War&Sanctions portal, in the “Components in Weapons” section, an interactive 3D model of the missile has been published, along with data on the enterprises involved in its production. This information is of critical importance for strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia’s military‑industrial complex.
A central role in the manufacturing process is played by the Novator Design Bureau, which is part of the Almaz‑Anteyconcern. HUR disclosed information on 39 Russian and one Belarusian enterprise involved in producing key components of the cruise missiles.
These facilities manufacture warheads, turbojet engines and their components, satellite and inertial navigation systems, electronic units, and other critical parts.
Of particular concern is the fact that eight out of the 41 identified enterprises have still avoided sanctions imposed by countries of the sanctions coalition. Among them are the Tambov Elektropribor Plant, which produces the GIB‑123‑4 inertial navigation system, and JSC High Technologies, which supplies GTT‑37.000 gas generators for the TRDD‑50B turbojet engines. The Volzhsky Electromechanical Plant provides components for 9B914 active jamming stations.
