The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) has released information on 14 financial institutions through which Russia is circumventing sanctions

Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate has published information on 14 banks, financial intermediaries, and payment systems that, according to intelligence reports, are helping Russia conduct international transactions in circumvention of sanctions.

New data from the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Office of the President, and the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has been posted in the “War Finance” section of the War&Sanctions portal. The information concerns the use of digital currencies, cross-border payment networks, and the financial infrastructure of countries that have not joined the sanctions against Russia.

Among the entities mentioned are the Finzypay platform, the “Asia-Pacific Bank,” and the Russian fintech service “Sistema-Crypto.” According to the GUR’s assessment, such alternative financial channels enable Russia to continue making international purchases, particularly of components and technologies needed by the military-industrial complex.

The intelligence report emphasizes that blocking such channels could complicate international financial transactions for the Russian military-industrial complex and weaken its supply chains.
