The Russian Ministry of Defense reported a drone attack on 12 regions of Russia
On the night of September 30, Russia reported a massive drone attack on several regions of the country. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the worst damage was recorded in occupied Crimea.
According to the Russian ministry, the attack lasted from 8:00 p.m. on September 30 to 8:00 a.m. on October 1, Moscow time.
Russia claims that drones were shot down over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tula, Kursk, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, and Astrakhan regions, the Moscow region, occupied Crimea, and the Black Sea.
There were also reports of an attack on facilities belonging to the Russian agricultural holding company “Miratorg” in the Bryansk region.
According to Russian sources, nine pieces of equipment were destroyed there, and another 13 were damaged. No one was injured.
Following the attack, temporary restrictions on electricity supply were imposed in occupied Crimea.
“Krymenergoinform” explained that this is necessary to prevent grid overloads and potential accidents. There are currently no specific schedules for power outages.
According to the company, electricity will be supplied selectively, depending on the situation in the power grid.
Earlier, Zelenskyy announced that targets in the Black Sea and three regions of Russia had been struck.
Zelenskyy stated that Russia wants to leave Ukrainians without internet and communications.
In the Dnipro district of Kyiv, residential areas were destroyed as a result of a Russian attack on September 24. According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities among residents.
