A total of 242 combat engagements were recorded along the front line; the Kostiantynivka sector is currently the hottest spot

Over the past 24 hours, 242 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. Russian forces carried out the largest number of attacks in the Kostiantynivka sector, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 30 enemy assaults.

“In total, 242 combat engagements have taken place since the start of this day. The aggressor carried out 59 airstrikes using 190 guided bombs, deployed 4,185 kamikaze drones, and fired 1,801 rounds at the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the military reported.

According to the General Staff, five enemy assaults have been recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors since the start of the day. The occupiers carried out one airstrike using three guided bombs and fired on our troops’ positions and populated areas 39 times, two of which involved the use of multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked the positions of our units eight times in the direction of the settlements of Ternova, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Karaichne, and Mala Vovcha. Fighting continues.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted twice to advance its positions by conducting assaults toward Kurylivka and Novoosynove. One of these assaults is still ongoing.

Thirteen attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman sector near the settlements of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, Maslyakivka, and Dibrova. Four of these attacks are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas around the settlements of Yampil, Starodubivka, and Mykolaivka. Two of the enemy’s assaults are still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked toward Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 30 enemy assaults: in the area of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and toward Ivanopillia, Novoselivka, Mykolaypillia, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, Raiske, Toretske, Vilne, and Stepiv. Five attacks by the occupiers are ongoing.

The enemy carried out twelve attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance toward the settlements of Svitle, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Novohryshyne, Hulyve, Serhiivka, Molodetske, Muravka, and Novopavlivka.

According to preliminary estimates, 69 occupiers were eliminated and 17 were wounded here today; seven vehicles, a cannon, two specialized vehicles, 45 shelters, a fuel and lubricants depot, and four enemy UAV command posts were destroyed. Two vehicles, two artillery systems, six UAV command posts, and 116 personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 149 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy did not conduct any assault operations.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks near the settlements of Rizdvyanka and Kopani.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy also attempted five times to advance toward Zarichne, Novoandriivka, and Pavlivka. Two of these assaults are still ongoing.

In the Dnipro sector, the occupiers launched attacks toward Marhanets and Dniprovskyi.

In other sectors, there were no significant changes in the situation.

There have been 134 combat engagements on the front lines, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.

Ukrainian defense forces have liberated the village of Seredne in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops also pushed back Russian occupiers in the Shandryholove area.

The liberation of the villages of Shandryholove and Drobysheve allowed Ukrainian forces to fully regain control of a key area that defends the approaches to Lyman. This was stated by Yuriy Butusov, commander of the UAV company of the 23rd Assault Regiment, part of the National Guard’s 2nd Corps “Charter.”
