In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russia is using motorcycles and buggies for assaults
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops are using motorcycles, ATVs, and light vehicles for assault operations. All small enemy groups are being eliminated by Ukrainian forces.
This was stated by Vladislav Voloshin, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, during a television broadcast.
According to him, the enemy continues to attempt to infiltrate the Velykomykhailivsky Forest in the Dnipropetrovsk region with small assault groups. There, Russian units are trying to establish a foothold in order to subsequently conduct offensive operations in the direction of Pokrovsk and other settlements in the region.
Voloshin noted that such assault groups consist mainly of two to four people. They use light vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, and modified buggy-type vehicles.
“In most cases, these are groups of two, three, or four. There have been several attempts to organize such motorized assaults using motorcycles, ATVs, and light vehicles. There was even a case where a bus was converted to transport troops,” the spokesperson said.
According to him, all such assault groups are promptly detected and neutralized by Ukrainian units.
At the same time, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, Russian forces are intensifying the training of children for future service in law enforcement agencies.
In the Russian army, there have been cases where soldiers shoot down their own drones and then try to pass them off as Ukrainian ones to receive a reward.
