The highest intensity of Russian attacks has been recorded in the Pokrovsk direction

Since the start of the day on April 13, the Russian Federation’s armed forces have carried out 53 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, focusing their main efforts on the Pokrovsk direction.

This is reported in the operational update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The heaviest fighting is currently taking place near Rodynske, Myrnohrad, and Udachne, where 16 assault attempts have been recorded.

In addition to infantry attacks, the invaders are actively using aviation; specifically, four guided bombs have already been dropped in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions. Border settlements in the Sumy region, such as Bachivsk and Novoivanivka, are under artillery and air strikes. In the Kostiantynivka sector, defenders repelled 11 attempts to advance in the areas of Pleshchiivka and Illinivka, where one engagement is still ongoing.

On the southern sections of the front, the enemy attempted to storm positions in the Huliaipole area and near the Antonivsky Bridge, but was unsuccessful. In the Lyman and Kupiansk sectors, fighting continues as the occupying forces seek to improve their tactical position. Ukrainian forces continue to wear down Russian forces along the entire line of contact, holding back pressure on key defensive sectors.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully thwarted another attempt by Russian troops to cross the Bakhmutka River, destroying the enemy’s crossing before it could be used.

Soldiers from the Raid Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces detected and destroyed an enemy communications antenna on the front lines that was tuned to Gazprom’s Yamal-601 satellite.
