In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russia attacked a State Emergency Service vehicle with a drone; there are injuries
Russian occupiers attacked rescue workers in the Zaporizhzhia region as they were responding to a call to extinguish a fire in Kushuhum. An enemy drone struck a State Emergency Service vehicle, injuring four rescue workers.
According to preliminary reports, a Russian drone attacked the State Emergency Service vehicle as it was traveling to the fire scene.
As a result of the strike, four State Emergency Service employees were injured. They are currently under medical supervision and receiving the necessary care.
The rescue team’s service vehicle was also damaged as a result of the attack.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, attacks on State Emergency Service personnel while they were performing their duties have been recorded on multiple occasions.
In particular, on August 7, Russian forces repeatedly attacked the Zaporizhzhia district while rescue workers were extinguishing a fire following a previous shelling. At that time, an enemy drone struck a fire truck, injuring two rescue workers.
Another similar incident occurred in late July. At that time, State Emergency Service personnel were extinguishing a fire in an open area in one of the forest districts of the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian forces launched a drone strike against the rescue workers who were operating at the scene of the fire.
Thus, Russian troops continue to attack rescue workers even while they are dealing with the aftermath of previous strikes, creating additional danger for emergency service personnel.

The death toll from the Russian attack on Boryspil has risen to four. Another 13 people were injured.
On the night of September 1, Russia launched a massive attack on Odesa and the Odesa region. The enemy used loitering munitions, conventional and rocket-powered drones, as well as other high-speed targets.
Over the past 24 hours, on August 31, Russian forces carried out 981 strikes on 57 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Two people were killed and eight others were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks.
Earlier, Russia attacked a facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi.
As a reminder, a massive attack on the Kyiv region left one person dead and eight wounded.
Russia also launched a massive missile attack on Kyiv overnight, resulting in fatalities.
