Fire Point reported an impressive number of targets hit in August

Throughout August 2026, systems developed by the Ukrainian company Fire Point struck 76 enemy targets behind enemy lines. Among the most significant operations, the company cited the damage to three ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the shutdown of the Orsk Oil Refinery, and a strike on the “Progress” Rocket and Space Center.

According to an official statement from Fire Point, Ukrainian forces used FP-1 drones and “Flamingo” missiles during the massive August attacks. Some special operations were carried out at distances of up to 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

The most successful operation against the enemy’s navy and export infrastructure was the attack on Novorossiysk on August 12. According to satellite intelligence, at least 30 strikes by attack UAVs were confirmed in the port.

As a result of this attack, three military ships sustained serious damage: the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, the *Admiral Makarov*; the frigate *Admiral Essen*; and a Project 266M minesweeper. An additional consequence of the strikes was the halt of Russian grain exports due to the destruction of the port’s grain elevator and grain terminal.

Another strike of strategic significance was the “Flamingo” missile attack on the RKC “Progress” facility on August 15. Two missiles struck Building 106A, where on-board electrical equipment and control systems for “Soyuz-2” launch vehicles were being assembled.

The “Progress” plant manufactures launch vehicles for military reconnaissance satellites and “Rassvet” spacecraft, which are considered the Russian equivalent of the Starlink network. The damage to this production building directly hampered rocket assembly.

In addition, on August 11, FP-1 drones struck the Orsk Oil Refinery, located 1,500 kilometers from the border. The drones disabled all of the refinery’s primary oil processing units, causing the facility to completely halt operations and undergo repairs.
