A Russian nighttime attack on Kyiv claimed the life of a man; his 16-year-old son lost an arm
Two people were killed and five others were injured as a result of a nighttime ballistic strike by Russian forces on Kyiv. Among the victims is a 16-year-old boy who suffered a traumatic amputation of his arm. His father was killed in the attack.
Condition of the injured teenager
As reported, the 16-year-old son of one of the victims was also injured. The boy suffered fractures and a traumatic amputation of his arm.
According to prosecutors, the Darnytskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv were targeted in the Russian attack.
Damage
Office buildings, warehouses, nearby parked cars, and windows in a residential building were damaged.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, a pretrial investigation has been launched into a war crime that resulted in the loss of life (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In Kyiv, part of Korolyov Avenue was closed off following the Russian attack.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have eliminated 1,340 Russian occupiers. The Defense Forces also destroyed three tanks, 66 artillery systems, 1,801 tactical-level drones, and 420 enemy vehicles.
Over the past day, 279 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. Russian troops launched one missile strike using four missiles, carried out 88 airstrikes, dropping 295 guided bombs, deployed 9,922 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,148 shelling attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces and populated areas, including 42 using multiple launch rocket systems.
