Occupiers have been ordered to step up FPV strikes on civilian targets in Zaporizhzhia — intelligence

The command of the Russian occupation forces has ordered its subordinate units to significantly increase the intensity of attacks on civilian infrastructure in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

According to military intelligence, the enemy plans to deploy attack drones on a massive scale to terrorize the civilian population within the operational depth of Ukraine’s security and defense forces.

To carry out these criminal intentions, the invaders have been promised a significant increase in the supply of kamikaze drones.

According to data obtained by the Department of Active Operations of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, units from the 58th Army of the aggressor state’s armed forces have received direct orders to intensify the attacks.

Russian military commanders are demanding that their troops carry out indiscriminate and targeted strikes, regardless of the status of the targets. Ordinary residents of the regional capital and the city’s infrastructure are set to become the victims of this new phase of escalation.

“The leaders of the Russian occupation forces are demanding, in particular, to intensify the terror in Zaporizhzhia—to strike any civilian targets in the regional center,” the statement from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reads.

Ukrainian intelligence officers note that such aggressive steps and calls for outright genocide are a consequence of the occupying army’s military setbacks on the front lines.

The Russian leadership is showing signs of disarray due to colossal losses in manpower and equipment.

Unable to achieve any real success or break through Ukrainian defenses in the Zaporizhzhia sector, the invaders are, as usual, shifting their focus to intimidating civilians.

“The order to intensify the terror against Ukrainians is yet another proof of the furious dissatisfaction of the leaders of the aggressor state, Russia, over its ever-increasing losses, as well as the lack of any results on the battlefield, particularly in the Zaporizhzhia sector,” the intelligence report concluded.

This was officially reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
