An occupier has been notified that he is suspected of gang-raping a minor in the Kherson region
The Office of the Prosecutor General announced that a Russian soldier has been charged with sexual assault against a minor from the Kherson region during the occupation.
According to the investigation, in March 2024, Russian soldiers forcibly took the girl to the outskirts of a town, where they raped her. The victim was subsequently taken to another location, where, according to law enforcement officials, she was sexually assaulted again.
In July 2026, as part of the same criminal proceeding, another servicemember of the Russian Armed Forces was notified of the charges against him. The investigation is ongoing.
