Following Crimea's lead, the occupied Luhansk region has restricted gasoline sales

In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, the invaders have imposed strict restrictions on the sale of automotive fuel to the civilian population. 

The Kremlin-controlled occupation administration of the so-called “LPR” has officially allowed local gas stations to sell no more than 20 liters of gasoline per person.

Representatives of the occupying “LPR government” attempted to reassure the local population, citing a sharp increase in demand among drivers as the reason for this measure. 

In addition, the collaborators acknowledged serious problems with logistics and the supply of fuel and lubricants from the territory of the Russian Federation. 

Local authorities claim that the restrictions are temporary and will remain in effect until fuel supplies stabilize.

The crisis in the supply of petroleum products in the Luhansk region is unfolding against the backdrop of a similar shortage in other occupied regions.

In Crimea, lines at gas stations stretch for kilometers, and the sale of fuel vouchers has been suspended

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the largest gas station chain, “TES,” announced the suspension of gasoline voucher sales due to a fuel shortage. The company’s website states that this service is currently unavailable.

Gas prices have skyrocketed in Moscow.

As a reminder, amid the escalating situation in the Middle East, the discount on Russian Urals crude oil has begun to rise for the first time in recent months. However, experts say that expensive oil will not save the Russian economy from a slowdown.
