Following the Russian attack on Kyiv, 10 people are considered missing

Search and rescue operations at the site of the Russian strike on Kyiv have been ongoing for a second day. Following the attack on July 2, ten people remain unaccounted for and are considered missing.

Rescue operations have been underway for a second day at three locations in Kyiv following last night’s Russian strikes. Rescuers have already cleared much of the rubble, but 10 people remain unaccounted for.

"The search operation will continue for as long as necessary. As of now, we know that 30 people were killed in yesterday’s strike on Kyiv. My condolences go out to all their families and loved ones. Nearly 100 people were injured, including children,” the head of state said in a statement.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As a reminder, following the attack on Kyiv, the death toll has risen to 22, with 100 injured.

As a result of the massive Russian attack on the night of July 2, public transportation routes in Kyiv have been altered. This was caused by damage to the overhead power lines, a power outage, and cleanup efforts following the enemy shelling.
 
As a result of the massive shelling of Kyiv by Russia on the night of July 2, a fire broke out in the building of the O. V. Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The research institution noted that no one was injured as a result of this emergency.
