The Pokrovsk sector has once again become the hottest spot on the front lines
Since the start of the day on September 11, there have been 207 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian forces launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops repelled 26 assaults; one battle was still ongoing.
Intense fighting continued along several fronts throughout September 11. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded 207 combat engagements. Russian troops continued to strike not only Ukrainian military positions but also populated areas. Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 78 airstrikes, during which they used 233 guided bombs. The Russians also deployed 6,395 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,875 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
Where the fighting took place
Two combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian forces carried out two airstrikes using six guided bombs and conducted 42 shelling attacks. One of these involved the use of a multiple launch rocket system.
In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, the Russians attempted to attack Ukrainian positions ten times. Assaults took place in the direction of Lyman, Kozacha Lopan, Symynivka, Vilcha, and Komisarove. One attack was still ongoing at the time of the evening report.
The occupiers carried out six more assaults in the Kupiansk direction. They attempted to advance toward Radkivka, Tyshchenkivka, Kurylivka, and Kivsharivka. Two attacks were ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian attempts to break through. Fighting took place near Novoyegorivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Dibrova. One battle was still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces stopped two enemy attempts to advance near Ozerne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces carried out one assault operation in the direction of Vasyutynske.
The heaviest fighting took place near Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces attempted to attack Ukrainian military positions 16 times. Assaults took place near Kostiantynivka, as well as in the direction of Osynove, Druzhkivka, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia, Vilne, and Stepiv. Three attacks were still ongoing at the time of the evening report.
The enemy’s actions were even more intense on the Pokrovsk sector. There, 26 attacks were recorded over the past 24 hours.
Russian forces attempted to advance toward Bilytske, Dorozhne, Chernihivka, Svitle, Sviatohirivka, Hryshyne, Matyashove, Vasylkivka, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Novopavlivka. One assault was still ongoing. According to preliminary data from the General Staff, Ukrainian forces killed 42 Russian occupiers and wounded another 14 in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian forces also destroyed:
- eight vehicles;
- two artillery pieces;
- three special-purpose vehicles;
- two UAV command posts;
- 40 personnel shelters;
- an ammunition depot;
- 322 drones of various types.
In addition, Ukrainian forces damaged a Russian tank, six artillery pieces, seven vehicles, one multiple-launch rocket system, 82 shelters for personnel, and one electronic warfare system.
Russian forces did not carry out any assaults in the Oleksandrivka sector.
What’s Happening in the South
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled five Russian attacks. Fighting took place near Rizdvyanka, Vozdvizhivka, and Charivne. One of the assaults was still ongoing at the time of the evening update.
In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.
The General Staff notes that there were no significant changes in the situation on other fronts. Thus, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops continued to attack Ukrainian positions in the east and northeast. Most of the assaults took place in the Pokrovsk sector, though active combat operations also continued near Kostiantynivka and in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna, Kupiansk, and Huliaipole sectors. This is stated in the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of September 11, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Saratov Oil Refinery in Russia. Fires were reported on the refinery’s premises following the attack.
As of the morning of September 10, 2026, the Russian army’s total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion stand at approximately 1,502,390 soldiers. In the past 24 hours alone, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia lost another 1,520 servicemen.
