The U.S. Embassy has warned of a possible attack on Ukraine within the next 24 hours

The U.S. Embassy has reported a "potentially significant airstrike" that "could occur at any time over the next 24 hours" across Ukraine.

This was reported on the embassy’s website.

“The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has received information about a potentially significant air attack that could occur at any time over the next 24 hours. The Embassy, as always, recommends that U.S. citizens be prepared to take immediate shelter in the event of an air raid alert,” the statement said.

As a reminder, on the evening of May 23, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that, according to information from American and European partners, Russia may be preparing a strike on Ukraine using the “Oreshnik” medium-range (intermediate-range) ballistic missile. The Ukrainian side is currently verifying the information received.

Launchers for “Oreshnik” ballistic missiles are being manufactured in Belarus, and Lukashenko dreams of obtaining Russian missiles for them. This was stated by Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko.

The Kremlin is stepping up its threats against Ukraine and its allies ahead of May 9, attempting to conceal its own inability to protect Russia’s rear regions from Ukrainian strikes.
