Russia attacked 24 settlements in the Sumy region; four people were injured

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled 24 settlements in the Sumy region using UAVs, guided munitions, and mortars. As a result of the attacks, three people were injured, and another man sought medical attention following a previous strike.

 

“Seredino-Budsk community. A 52-year-old man was injured as a result of an enemy attack. Private homes were damaged. Krolevets community. Two men—aged 46 and 23—were injured by a drone strike. A locomotive and railroad tracks were damaged. Novoslobodsk community. A 37-year-old woman was wounded when an enemy drone struck. A man who was injured on August 21 when a drone struck in the Sumy community also sought medical attention,” the police report states.

A drone strike in the Kyiv region caused a fire in residential buildings; two people were rescued.

As a reminder, debris from a Russian drone caused a fire in a five-story building in Kyiv.

Following the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack on Kyiv, an educational institution was struck.
