Russia attacked a civilian facility in the Kharkiv region; there are casualties
On the morning of August 26, Russian troops attacked a civilian enterprise in the village of Rohan, Kharkiv District, with a drone. Three people were injured in the strike, and a large-scale fire broke out.
“This morning, the enemy launched a drone strike on the village of Rogan in the Kharkiv district. The strike hit the premises of a civilian enterprise,” according to a statement from emergency responders.
According to the State Emergency Service, three people were injured as a result of the attack.
A fire covering an area of 800 square meters also broke out on the enterprise’s grounds. The fire engulfed a utility building and timber.
The shock wave damaged nearby buildings and vehicles.
State Emergency Service units worked at the site of the strike alongside firefighters from the local fire department to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack.

On the morning of August 26, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region; explosions were heard in the city center. According to preliminary reports, the occupiers may have used guided bombs; information on casualties is being verified.
In the Chernihiv region and in Slavutych, 30,000 customers were left without power following an attack by the Russian Federation.
As a reminder, on August 23, Russian forces attacked a train station in the Kharkiv region with a drone while a passenger train evacuating people was stopped. Two women were killed in the strike, and five others were injured.
