Russia attacked Ukraine with 104 UAVs and missiles, hitting 16 locations
On the night of 22 November, the Russian army carried out another massive air attack on Ukrainian territory. The enemy used an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 104 Shahed, Geran and other types of strike UAVs.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The launches were carried out from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation, as well as from Chaudy in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and from the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk. About 65 of the drones were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by air defence forces—aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, as well as electronic warfare and unmanned systems units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
As of 09:00, the downing or suppression of 89 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Geran and other models in the northern, southern and eastern regions of Ukraine has been preliminarily confirmed.
At the same time, 13 strikes by attack drones were recorded in 15 locations, as well as one strike by a ballistic missile.
During the night, Russia attacked the Orlivka international border crossing between Ukraine and Romania with drones. It has temporarily ceased to function.
During the night of 21 November, Russian troops carried out a strike on Odesa, resulting in four casualties.
