Russia shelled a playground in Kherson — there are casualties
Russian troops fired on the Korabelny district of Kherson using a multiple-launch rocket system, striking a playground where parents and children were present. One man was killed in the attack. Among the wounded are a woman and her two daughters.
This was reported on Facebook by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the city’s military administration.
According to available information, the shelling was recorded around 5:30 p.m. Medical personnel are treating a 36-year-old mother and her two children—girls aged 3 and 6. They have been diagnosed with blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds.
Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that a man was also killed in the attack. His identity is currently being determined.
According to police, the deceased is the father of the injured girls. The woman and her children were hospitalized.
Law enforcement officials are taking steps to document the war crime committed by Russian Armed Forces personnel, the post states.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 20 others were wounded by enemy shelling.
Over the past day, 13 civilians were injured due to Russian attacks in the Sumy region. Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, and Russian drones attacked civilian vehicles, homes, and farms.
