Russia has intensified its assaults in the Pokrovsk direction

Since the start of the day on September 10, there have been 173 combat engagements on the front lines, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian troops carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction—28—and Ukrainian forces repelled another 8 assaults near Kostiantynivka.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces also carried out 76 airstrikes, dropped 246 guided bombs, and deployed more than 6,200 kamikaze drones.

 

The Pokrovsk sector remains one of the hottest spots on the front line. Since the start of the day, Ukrainian forces have repelled 28 attacks by the Russian army. The occupiers attempted to advance near Dorozhne, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Molodetske, and Muravka. Russian troops also attacked in the direction of Hannivka, Svitlyi, Dobropillia, Matyashiv, and Serhiivka.

It was here that the Ukrainian military inflicted the heaviest losses on the Russians among all the sectors mentioned in the evening report. According to preliminary data from the General Staff, over the past 24 hours in the Pokrovsk sector, 48 Russian soldiers were killed and another 222 were wounded.

Destroyed Russian Equipment and Positions

Ukrainian forces also struck a significant number of the occupiers’ military equipment and facilities. Specifically, four vehicles, two artillery systems, and three pieces of specialized equipment were destroyed. The Ukrainian military also destroyed three drone control centers, 67 shelters, and three ammunition depots.

Four more vehicles and ten artillery systems were damaged. One air defense system, three UAV command posts, and 117 shelters were also damaged. Separately, the General Staff reported that 340 drones of various types were destroyed or neutralized. All of these figures are preliminary.

What’s Happening Near Kostiantynivka

The Kostiantynivka sector was the second most active area in the evening summary. Ukrainian forces repelled eight Russian attacks. The occupiers launched assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Dovha Balka, Toretsk, and Vilne.

Russian troops also attempted to advance toward Mykolaipillia and Kucheroiv Yar. Fighting in this sector continues amid constant pressure from the Russian army in the Donetsk region.

Situation in Other Directions

In the Lyman sector, the Defense Forces repelled seven attacks. The Russians attempted to advance toward Olgivka and Lyman, as well as near Stavky, Drobysheve, and Dibrova.

On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna front, the occupiers launched four assaults on Ukrainian positions near Izbytske and Ivanivka, as well as near Chugunivka and Zakharivka. Another clash was still ongoing at the time of this report.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two assaults near Kivsharivka and Hlushkivka. Another battle was still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, one Russian attack was repelled near Ozerny and Kryva Luka. Another clash was ongoing.

Meanwhile, in the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive operations.

Russians are attacking in the south

In the Huliaipole sector, seven attacks were recorded over the past 24 hours. Russian troops launched assaults toward Rizdvyanka and Vozdvizhivka, as well as near Tsvitkove and Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two assaults—near Malaya Tokmachka and in the direction of Novoyakovlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the Defense Forces stopped one attack near Berezove and Kalynivske. Another battle in this area was ongoing.

In the Dnipro sector, the Russians did not carry out any assaults.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks.

Russia carried out hundreds of strikes

In addition to ground assaults, Russian troops actively used aircraft and drones over the past 24 hours. According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out 76 airstrikes and dropped 246 guided bombs.

In addition, Russian forces used 6,206 kamikaze drones to carry out strikes. Another 2,104 strikes targeted populated areas and Ukrainian military positions. In total, as of 10:00 p.m. on September 10, 173 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. In other sectors, according to the General Staff, there were no significant changes in the situation.

As of the morning of September 10, 2026, the Russian army’s total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion amount to approximately 1,502,390 soldiers. In the past 24 hours alone, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia lost another 1,520 servicemen.

The day before, 221 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. The enemy carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Defense Forces repelled 21 assaults, and Russian troops lost more than 60 occupiers.
