Russia strikes a suburb of Zaporizhzhia with drones, child injured (photos)
Last night, on 10 February, Russian forces attacked Vilniansk in the Zaporizhzhia region with drones. As a result of the shelling, there were casualties, including a one-year-old child.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) on Telegram.
“During the night, Russian drones attacked settlements in the Zaporizhzhia district. As a result of the shelling, fires broke out at several addresses — residential buildings were burning. Nearby buildings were damaged by the blast wave,” the SES stated.
It is reported that at one of the addresses, emergency responders freed two women and two children aged 1 and 10 by opening doors that had been damaged by the explosion.
The Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, also confirmed the shelling of the Zaporizhzhia district.
“Russians attacked Vilniansk with drones. Private houses and outbuildings were damaged. Two women, a man, and a young boy who is not yet two years old were injured,” Fedorov emphasised.
The enemy also attacked Zaporizhzhia, resulting in damage to power grids.
We remind that Russians attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region and Zaporizhzhia, injuring a child.
We also remind that the Russian Federation attacked energy infrastructure in eight regions of Ukraine.
In addition, as a result of the attack in the Khmelnytskyi region, a residential building was damaged.
