Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 100 drones overnight; 63 of them were jet-powered
On the night of October 1, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 107 strike drones. Among them were 63 jet-powered drones, with the rest being “Gerbera”-type UAVs, Shahed drones, and “Parody” decoy drones.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
As of 8:00 a.m., air defense units had shot down and neutralized 87 enemy UAVs, including Shahed and “Gerbera” models, as well as other types of drones.

“Enemy airstrikes were recorded at 11 locations, and debris from downed UAVs was found at 4 locations,” the statement said.

Since the evening of September 30, Russian troops have attacked the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than ten times. A civilian man was killed as a result of the strikes.
In the Pechersk district of the capital, debris from a drone fell into the yard of a private residence.
A drone strike in the Kyiv region caused a fire in several buildings; two people were rescued.
As a reminder, debris from a Russian drone caused a fire in a five-story building in Kyiv.
Following the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack on Kyiv, an educational institution was hit.
