Power outage schedules were implemented in Crimea following the explosions
In occupied Crimea, power outages began following a series of explosions. Some settlements were left without power, and hourly restrictions were imposed in the Kurman district.
According to representatives of the occupying administration, the situation regarding uninterrupted power supply on the peninsula remains difficult. The occupying energy authorities are reportedly working to restore the damaged power grids.
In the Kurman district, the occupiers have implemented a power supply schedule consisting of three hours with electricity and three hours without.
Vasyl Hrabovan, head of the district’s occupation administration, attributed the restrictions to an accident on the high-voltage power lines.
“REP crews are working to address the consequences,” Vasyl Hrabovan stated.
As a result, residents of the district are forced to use electricity on a 3/3 hourly schedule.
Russian media outlets are linking the power outages to a nighttime drone attack on energy facilities in occupied Crimea.
At the same time, Ukraine has not yet officially commented on these reports, so information regarding the causes of the damage to the energy infrastructure requires further confirmation.
Separately, power outages were reported in the Nizhnegorsk district. Following explosions there, authorities stated that an electrical substation had been hit.
Due to the damage, part of the town was left without power.
Currently, the occupying authorities claim that power engineers are working to restore the grid and stabilize the power supply on the peninsula.
This was reported by representatives of the occupying authorities, citing a statement from the occupying company “Krymenergo.”
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, explosions were reported on the night of September 29 near the Tavriya Thermal Power Plant and in the area of the Simferopol District Power Plant. According to local residents and monitoring channels, the sounds of explosions were also heard in other areas of the peninsula. There is currently no official confirmation of exactly what happened at these facilities.
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, power outages began in several districts following a nighttime explosion at a large power substation in the village of Nizhnegorsk. In particular, settlements in the Krasnogvardeisky and Pervomaisky districts were left without power.
