Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have attacked the Donetsk region 973 times. The shelling damaged 105 civilian structures, including 103 residential buildings.
According to law enforcement officials, on September 8, Russian troops carried out 973 attacks along the front line and in residential areas of the Donetsk region.
Three settlements came under Russian fire. In total, 105 civilian structures were damaged, including 103 residential buildings.
“On September 8, the police recorded 973 Russian attacks along the front line and in the region’s residential areas. A total of 105 civilian structures were damaged, including 103 residential buildings. Three settlements were under fire,” the report states.
Russian troops attacked Sloviansk twice with “Smerch” multiple rocket launchers. Four private homes were damaged as a result of the strikes.
In Bilenke, the occupiers dropped three KAB-250 guided aerial bombs. There, 96 private homes were damaged.
In Petrivka Druha, three private homes and two outbuildings were damaged after being struck by a Russian “Molniya-2” drone.
In addition, on September 9 at approximately 3:35 a.m., Russian forces attacked Yasnogorka with a drone.
The strike damaged an outbuilding.
Thus, Russian troops continue to carry out massive shelling of civilian infrastructure in the Donetsk region, using artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, guided aerial bombs, and attack drones.

On the evening of September 8, Russian troops struck Mykolaiv. The attack damaged the “Metro” hypermarket—windows were shattered and the roof was damaged.
In Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, a Russian attack drone struck a 16-story residential building. Information regarding possible casualties is currently being verified.
Since the evening of September 8, Russian troops have shelled four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times. The occupiers used drones in the attacks; three people were injured as a result of the strikes.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by Russia.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
