Russia launched a massive airstrike on Kramatorsk; a baby was among those injured
Russian troops launched at least eight strikes on Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region this morning. Residential neighborhoods and high-rise buildings in the city came under fire.
According to preliminary reports, at least 11 people were injured as a result of the Russian attack. Among the victims was a two-month-old infant.
According to the city council, the enemy struck the city at least eight times. Russian troops are believed to have used aerial bombs in the attack.
Numerous high-rise buildings and an infrastructure facility were damaged as a result of the strikes. The exact extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
Following the Russian attack, all relevant emergency and municipal services are operating in Kramatorsk. Experts are assessing the full extent of the damage and providing assistance to those affected.
“At least 11 people were injured as a result of today’s strikes on Kramatorsk. Among the injured is a two-month-old infant,” the city council reported.
They also emphasized: “We are determining the full extent of the damage caused by these strikes. All relevant services are on the scene.”
Information regarding the number of casualties and the extent of the damage may be subject to change.

In the Mykolaiv region, a drone struck a commuter train. The passengers and the train crew were unharmed.
Overnight, Russian troops again struck Konotop in the Sumy region. A 14-year-old girl was injured in the attack, and significant destruction and damage were reported in the city.
The Russian strike drone that attacked a gas station in Zaporizhzhia on July 6, killing three people, may have been the first confirmed instance of Russia using a drone with a fully autonomous artificial intelligence system.
On the night of August 25, Russian troops attacked a shopping and entertainment center in Slobozhanske, Dniprovskyi District. The strike caused fires inside and near the building, damaged a truck, and destroyed the mall’s interior.
As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy facilities in the Odesa region.
Earlier, drones attacked Ozon logistics centers in two regions of the Russian Federation simultaneously.
Drones also struck Krasnodar, causing a fire at a warehouse.
Earlier, warehouses caught fire in Akulovo, near Moscow.
