Russia has launched 46 strikes on the Chernihiv region; one person has been wounded
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 46 attacks on the Chernihiv region, resulting in injuries to a civilian woman.
This was reported by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
According to him, border villages in the Koryukivka community came under attack by FPV drones. In one of the settlements, a residential building caught fire—local residents managed to extinguish the blaze. Another house and the roof of a village club were also damaged. In another village, a car and an ATV were hit; in yet another, a house and a passenger car were damaged.
In the Menska community of the Koryukivka district, a transport infrastructure facility was hit.
In Semenivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi District, an FPV drone damaged a grocery store.
“Last night, the enemy attacked a village in the Novhorod-Siverskyi community with ‘Gerber’ missiles. At least three homes were damaged. A civilian woman was injured,” Chaus noted.
He also reported that strikes on critical infrastructure facilities were recorded in two districts of the region.
Since Friday evening, the Russian army has carried out more than 20 attacks on three districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in at least one casualty.
On May 15, a Russian drone attacked the Hryhorii Skovoroda National Literary and Memorial Museum in the Kharkiv region. The strike damaged the protective shelter of the site, which is under UNESCO protection.
Russian troops struck a facility belonging to one of the structural units of Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo in the Zaporizhzhia district. The attack damaged service vehicles.
