On the evening of October 2, Russian troops attacked Gostomel in the Kyiv region. Two local residents were injured—a 66-year-old man and an 8-year-old girl. The man was hospitalized, and the child suffered a shrapnel wound to her leg.

 

On the evening of October 2, a Russian attack on Gostomel in the Kyiv region resulted in two people being injured. Among the injured was an 8-year-old girl. According to reports, the 66-year-old man suffered burns to his body and a closed abdominal injury. He was taken to a local hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical care. An 8-year-old girl was also injured. She sustained a shrapnel wound to her lower limb.

A fire broke out in Gostomel following the attack. The fire engulfed warehouse and production facilities. “Rescue workers are continuing to extinguish the fire at the warehouse and production facilities,” Tkachenko reported. Earlier, it was reported that warehouse facilities in the Bucha district were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the evening of October 2. A fire broke out on the premises, which rescue workers began to extinguish after the strike.
