Zelenskyy’s reaction
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X on Sunday after a conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Kyiv that Russia was escalating its attacks. He said he was surprised by Russia’s approach to strikes on Ukraine.
According to Zelenskyy, Russia is attacking bridges, data processing centers and mobile communications, affecting people’s lives. In an interview with the Financial Times published on Friday, the president said that, according to intelligence data, Russian leader Vladimir Putin allegedly stated in September that there were no rules for attacks against Ukraine.
