Russia spent over $300 million on massive strike against Ukraine — Ukrainian intelligence
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (HUR MO), Russia spent more than $324 million on the massive attacks on Ukraine during the night of February 3, 2026.
“The total cost of the weapons used amounted to $324.8 million — more than $190 million higher than during the January 20 strike,” the statement reads.
HUR highlighted that this amount could have supported the Jewish Autonomous Region of Russia for an entire year (population ~144,000) or the city of Kaluga with over 320,000 residents. The figure is also comparable to the six-month budget of Kostroma Oblast.
Despite the huge expenditure, Ukraine’s air defense destroyed 450 aerial targets, meaning that 79.2% of Russia’s resources were wasted, according to intelligence estimates.
For context, Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted 88 out of 105 drones launched by Russian forces from the evening of February 3.
