Russians attack car in Sumy region: two killed
On the evening of 27 February, Russian forces struck a civilian vehicle in the Sumy region with a drone. Two people were killed in the attack, and another man was injured.
This was reported by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Sumy region.
According to the investigation, at around 18:20 the occupiers attacked the vehicle in the Vorozhbyansk community of Sumy district.
As a result of the strike, two men died on the spot. Another man, aged 53, sustained injuries.
Prosecutors, together with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the attack. A pre-trial investigation has been opened into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the loss of life.
British intelligence has analysed Russia’s strategy of air attacks against Ukraine.
It should be recalled that the occupiers also attacked two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery and drones.
In addition, air defence forces destroyed 29 enemy drones.
