Russians attacked three towns in the Chernihiv region with drones; a child was injured
On March 29, Russian forces launched drone attacks using various types of drones against three settlements in the Chernihiv region.
This was reported by Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the regional military administration.
In Semenivka, an FPV drone struck the building of the local history museum, damaging the roof. An agricultural enterprise in Novhorod-Siverskyi was hit by a “Gerbera” drone, resulting in damage to agricultural equipment.
In residential areas of Novhorod-Siverskyi, a girl born in 2010 was injured. Homes of local residents, a kindergarten, and a woodworking enterprise were also damaged. Late in the evening, a “Gerbera” drone struck a critical infrastructure facility on the outskirts of Chernihiv, but the fire was quickly extinguished.
Vyacheslav Chaus noted that over the past week, Ukrainian defenders shot down 427 enemy strike drones over the Chernihiv region, calling this result “very good.”
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, the Russian army launched a targeted strike on a critical infrastructure facility in Chernihiv.
