The General Staff has released a map of combat operations in Ukraine as of April 28
Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile units, and artillery struck four areas where enemy forces were concentrated.
Over the past 24 hours, 226 combat engagements took place. Ukrainian troops continue to repel the occupiers’ attacks, inflicting significant losses on them. The defenders are confidently repelling the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory and are effectively striking its forces.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 76 airstrikes, dropping 247 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 6,251 kamikaze drones and fired 2,283 rounds at populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 34 rounds from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, specifically in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region—Pokrovske, Lisne, Novoselivka, and Gavrylivka; in Zaporizhzhia, Rizdvyanka, Verkhnia Tersa, Shyroke, Svoboda, Dolynka, Rivne, Novoselivka, Lyubytske, Chervona Krynytsia, Odarivka, Zaporozhets, and Novooleksandrivka were hit by airstrikes.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions
Over the past day, the enemy carried out three airstrikes using five guided bombs, fired 58 times at Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including four attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction
The enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 18 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Starytsia, and toward Ternova, Okhrimivka, Bochkove, Novovasylivka, and Kolodyazne.
In the Kupiansk direction
The enemy attacked four times in the areas of Novoosynove, Kindrashivka, and toward Kupiansk and Kivsharivka.
In the Lyman direction
The enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 13 times, attacking toward the settlements of Drobysheve, Lyman, and Shyikivka.
In the Sloviansk direction
The enemy conducted assault operations in the Zakitne area and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kryva Luka, and Ozerny.
In the Kostyantynivka direction
The enemy carried out 15 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka and Ivanopillia, as well as toward the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Vilne, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction
Ukrainian defenders repelled 52 assaults by the aggressor toward the settlements of Bilytske, Zatyshok, Nove Shakhove, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Muravka, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and Serhiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction
The enemy attacked six times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Novohryhorivka, and toward Verbove and Yegorivka.
In the Huliaipole direction
There were 26 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Myrne, Tsvitkove, Charivne, and Huliaipilske.
In the Dnipro direction
The enemy made four attempts to advance toward the Antonivsky Bridge and Bilohrudy Island.
On the front line, 182 combat engagements took place on April 27 – General Staff.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost approximately 1,271,350 troops. In the last 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 950 invaders.
Ukrainian troops recently advanced in the Donetsk region. This refers to the area between Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, where the Defense Forces were able to improve their positions.
