Throughout the day on April 27, 2026, Russia continued its active offensive operations, focusing its main efforts on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors. The enemy carried out 43 airstrikes, deployed over 3,600 kamikaze drones, and fired over 1,500 rounds at Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in its evening update as of 10:00 p.m.
The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest spot, where 38 attacks toward Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and surrounding settlements were repelled. According to preliminary data, over 80 occupiers were killed or wounded here, armored vehicles and cars were destroyed, and 190 UAVs of various types were neutralized. In the Huliaipole direction, 22 assault operations were recorded in the areas of Zaliznychne, Myrne, and Charivne; some of the fighting is still ongoing.
High-intensity fighting continues in the Kostyantynivka sector (13 attacks) and the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector (10 attacks in the Vovchansk and Starytsia areas). In the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Dnipro sectors, defense forces also repelled enemy attempts to advance. Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment on the occupiers across the entire front line.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost approximately 1,271,350 troops. In the past 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 950 occupiers.
Ukrainian troops recently advanced in the Donetsk region. This refers to the area between Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, where the Defense Forces were able to improve their positions.
