Russian army losses exceed 1.27 million troops – General Staff
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost about 1,271,350 military personnel. Over the past day alone, the Defence Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 950 occupiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Losses of Russian equipment also remain significant. In particular, Ukrainian troops have destroyed 11,734 tanks, 24,148 armoured combat vehicles, and 37,960 artillery systems.
Thus, the total combat losses of the enemy from 24 February 2022 to 6 March 2026 are estimated to be:
- personnel – about 1,271,350 (+950)
- tanks – 11,734 (+7) units
- armoured combat vehicles – 24,148 (+6) units
- artillery systems – 37,960 (+45) units
- multiple launch rocket systems – 1,669 (+2) units
- air defence systems – 1,320 (+1) units
- aircraft – 435 (+0) units
- helicopters – 349 (+1) units
- operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles – 159,990 (+1,609) units
- cruise missiles – 4,384 (+0) units
- ships / boats – 30 (+0) units
- submarines – 2 (+0) units
- vehicles and fuel tankers – 81,642 (+208) units
- special equipment – 4,080 (+1) units

It should be recalled that over the past day Russia lost 790 troops and six air defence systems in the war against Ukraine.
The Defence Forces also struck a space communications facility and enemy air defence sites.
Earlier, powerful explosions were heard at the Belbek airfield in Crimea.
In addition, drones attacked the Ilsky oil refinery and Sevastopol.
