The Russians have attacked the Zaporizhzhia region more than a thousand times; there are casualties and injuries
Over the past 24 hours, on August 3, 2026, Russian forces carried out 1,049 strikes on 60 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Two people were killed in the attacks, and 11 more residents of the region were wounded.
- A total of 25 airstrikes were carried out against a number of settlements.
- The enemy deployed 791 drones of various UAV models, primarily FPV drones.
- A total of 233 artillery shellings were recorded.
As a result of the attacks, the police received 109 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, cars, and outbuildings.
At around 5:42 a.m., the enemy attacked the city with a drone. A car caught fire after being struck by a Russian UAV. There were no casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Earlier, drones attacked the strategic port of Taman in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.
On July 30, Robert Brovdi (“Madyar”), commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, reported on new results of combat operations by Ukrainian units.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the destruction of a Russian export terminal and military facilities.
