Russia attacked the southern part of the Odesa region; there are casualties
Russian troops launched yet another attack on civilian infrastructure in the southern part of the Odesa region.
The attack destroyed a private residential building, and two people were injured.
“The enemy has once again attacked civilian infrastructure in the south of the Odesa region. A private residential building was destroyed as a result of this latest strike. According to preliminary reports, two people were injured,” Kipper said.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, a fire broke out after the enemy attack, but rescue workers quickly extinguished the blaze.
Relevant services are currently working at the scene, and efforts are underway to assess the full extent of the damage caused by the shelling and to gather information on the condition of those injured.

In addition, Russian occupation forces carried out another attack on the civilian population of Kherson. A video has appeared online showing an FPV drone chasing an unarmed man in the Tavriyskyi neighborhood of the city.
As a reminder, on the morning of August 3, Russian troops used an FPV drone to attack a police crew that was en route to evacuate residents of the Kupiansk district in the Kharkiv region. Andriy Kanashevych, head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration, reported this on Suspilne TV.
As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 954 strikes on 54 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and another was wounded as a result of the shelling.
In Kharkiv, a Russian strike drone hit a gas station in the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district. The attack caused an emergency at the site of the strike.
