Video: Special Operations Forces soldiers captured two Russian soldiers and obtained intelligence
Operators from the 6th Rangers Regiment of the Special Operations Forces captured two Russian servicemen during a fire raid on the positions of Russian occupiers. The unit reported this on August 3, releasing a video of the operation.
According to the Special Operations Forces, Ukrainian special forces also killed four Russian soldiers while carrying out the combat mission.
As noted, on one of the fronts, SSO fighters stealthily approached enemy positions to within about one meter, after which they launched an assault.
“The SSO special forces operated so stealthily and silently in broad daylight that they were able to approach the enemy to a distance of just 1 meter. Moreover, even then, the enemy realized that operators were nearby only when they gave the command to hold their ground,” the unit reported.
The Special Operations Forces noted that, in addition to replenishing the prisoner exchange pool, Ukrainian troops obtained valuable intelligence, documents, and communications equipment from the Russian occupiers during the operation.

As a reminder, soldiers of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade captured a Russian soldier in the Kostiantynivka area. According to the brigade, he had infiltrated Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka to film a propaganda video featuring the Russian flag. However, Ukrainian troops spotted him in time and detained him.
It is becoming increasingly difficult for the families of Ukrainian prisoners of war to find out where their loved ones are being held. Human rights activists say that the Russian system has become even more secretive: official responses often contradict one another, and access to information and lawyers is constantly being restricted.
