Consumers in seven regions remain without power due to Russian shelling
As of the morning of August 4, no rolling blackouts are expected in Ukraine. However, residents of seven regions remain without power due to the effects of Russian shelling.
The Ministry of Energy noted that some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions are temporarily without power.
According to the ministry, emergency repair work is underway at all damaged power facilities where the security situation permits. Power utility workers are working to restore power as quickly as possible.
The ministry emphasized that there is currently no basis for implementing power outage schedules, but urged citizens to monitor announcements from distribution system operators, as the situation in the power grid may change depending on the consequences of Russian attacks.
Ukrainians were also urged to use electricity efficiently. They recommend using the most energy-intensive household appliances between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and limiting consumption during the evening hours whenever possible to maintain the stability of the power grid.

As a reminder, thunderstorms are forecast for the Kyiv region in the coming hour and through the end of the day on August 3, which may cause power outages. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a Level I hazard warning (yellow).
On the night of July 26, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to monitoring channels, Simferopol, Feodosia, and Yalta were under attack.
