The Russians have attacked the Sumy region more than 40 times; there are casualties
Over the 24-hour period from May 14 to May 15, Russian forces carried out more than 40 strikes on the territory of Sumy Oblast. Nineteen settlements in 10 communities across the region came under fire. Two people were injured in the attacks, including a teenager.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.
In the Bilopil community, a 54-year-old man was wounded when a Russian drone struck a motorcycle.
In the Vorozhba community, a 17-year-old boy was injured as a result of a KAB strike.
The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy district.
The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
In the Trostyanets community, a private residential house, a garage, and a car were damaged.
In the Vorozhba community, private residential houses, an apartment building, a garage, civilian infrastructure facilities, and a car were damaged.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a private residential house was damaged.
In the Mykolaiv rural community, a farm building and a car were damaged.
In the Buryn community, a private residential house was damaged.

In the Esman community, private residential houses were destroyed, and farm buildings and a store were damaged.
In the Shalygyn community, a private residential house and farm buildings were destroyed.
In the Hlukhiv community, a private residential house was damaged.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house was damaged.
Over the past 24 hours, 17 people were evacuated from border communities.

Missiles struck the "Molniya" drone manufacturing plant in Taganrog.
