Fighting near Kaleniki continues
The Kaleniky area has long remained a combat zone. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously reported Russian assaults in the Sloviansk direction near Kaleniky. Specifically, in its September 21 update, the General Staff reported five enemy assaults in the area of Kaleniky, Kryva Luka, and Mykolaivka.
On September 23, the Ukrainian General Staff also reported two Russian assaults in the Sloviansk direction—in the areas of Kaleniky and Kryva Luka. According to the General Staff, as of the morning of September 26, Russian troops had carried out five assaults in the Sloviansk direction over the previous 24 hours. This time, the report mentioned Kryva Luka and the areas around Starodubivka, Mykolaivka, and Orekhuvatka.
Thus, the advance reported by DeepState is taking place against the backdrop of ongoing fighting in the Kaleniky area and neighboring settlements.

The updated map from the analytical project highlights a new section of Russian troop advancement near Kaleniki. DeepState itself did not specify in the report the area of the affected territory or the distance by which Russian units have advanced.
The General Staff has previously reported on fighting in this area on multiple occasions. Therefore, the situation near Kalenyky remains fluid, and data regarding changes to the front line may be updated. Currently, DeepState confirms the advance near Kaleniky. There was no official statement from the General Staff regarding this specific advance in the available briefing, so this information should be treated as an assessment by the analytical project. On September 26 and during the night of September 27, Ukrainian defense forces struck key military targets of Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories. The targets included a storage, training, and launch facility for attack drones, two ammunition depots, a logistics depot, and a fuel and lubricants depot.
Over the past 24 hours, on September 26, there were 221 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian forces carried out 90 airstrikes, dropped 289 guided bombs, deployed over 10,000 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,729 shelling attacks. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions—26 in each.
Over the past day, the Russian army lost approximately 1,690 soldiers. Total Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale war have reached approximately 1,528,970. During the same period, Russian forces lost dozens of pieces of military equipment, including 57 artillery systems, seven armored vehicles, and eight tanks.
On the night of September 27, Russia attacked Ukraine with 170 strike drones, including 76 jet-powered ones. As of 7:30 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 147 enemy drones. At the same time, strikes were recorded at 18 locations, and debris from downed targets fell at eight additional sites.
