Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region 886 times over the past 24 hours, with 54 settlements coming under fire. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed, 25 residents were injured, and homes, vehicles, and infrastructure were damaged.
The Russian army launched massive attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. A total of 886 strikes on 54 settlements were recorded. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defense Council. According to him, one person was killed and 25 others were wounded as a result of Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.
The Russians struck with aerial bombs and drones
Russian troops carried out 25 airstrikes. The following areas were hit: Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvakha, Zarichne, Tavriiske, Zapasne, Hryhorivka, Novoyakovlivka, Zhovta Krucha, Bilohirya, Hulyaypilske, Hirke, Kopani, Mykilske, Chervonyi Yar, Vasynivka, Chervona Krynytsia, and Novosoloshyne. Most of the attacks were carried out by drones. Over the past 24 hours, the Russians deployed 673 UAVs of various types, primarily FPV drones.
The drones attacked Zaporizhzhia and dozens of settlements in the region. Among them were Kushuhum, Balabine, Bilenke, Novotavriiske, Yuliivka, Lezhine, Novotroitske, Veselyi Hai, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Stepove, Orikhiv, and other settlements.
Also under attack were Huliaipilske, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove, Novoe Zaporizhzhia, Charivne, Bilohiria, Rybne, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Sviatopetrivka, Novoselivka, Kopani, and Ternuvate.
The Zaporizhzhia region was shelled with MLRS and artillery
Russian troops opened fire twice with multiple-launch rocket systems. Vozdvizhivka and Rivne were targeted. Another 186 artillery strikes hit settlements in the region.
Among them were Stepnogorsk, Stepove, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novoselivka, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, Kosivtseve, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Bilohiria, Preobrazhenka, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, and Pryluky. Thus, the Russian military used several types of weapons against the region at once—aircraft, drones, multiple-launch rocket systems, and artillery.
Damaged Buildings and Infrastructure
Following the Russian attacks, local authorities received 187 reports of damage. These include residential buildings, vehicles, and various infrastructure facilities.
The most extensive destruction and damage have been recorded in settlements that are regularly under Russian shelling. At the same time, information about the consequences of the attacks may be subject to change. Local authorities and relevant services continue to survey the damaged areas.
Russia continues to strike the Zaporizhzhia region
The Zaporizhzhia region remains one of the areas most heavily targeted by Russian forces. Settlements near the front line are under constant attack, and the Russians are using artillery, aircraft, and a large number of drones in their attacks. This time, nearly 900 strikes were recorded in a single day.
