A Russian strike destroyed the Ukrposhta depot in Pavlohrad: two female employees were killed
On August 6, Russian forces launched a “Banderole” drone-missile strike on the Ukrposhta sorting depot in Pavlohrad. Two female employees of the company were killed in the attack, and another employee was injured.
This was reported by Ihor Smilianskyi, CEO of Ukrposhta. According to him, the strike completely destroyed the sorting depot and the base for mobile branches that served Pavlohrad and surrounding communities.
“The most painful thing is that this strike claimed the lives of two of our female employees. The enemy wanted to stop our work, but they will not succeed,” Smiliansky said.
Ukrposhta noted that it has already activated backup logistics plans. The delivery of pensions, medications, packages, and letters will continue, although minor delays are possible in the coming days. The company also promised to compensate customers for all shipments destroyed as a result of the Russian strike.
