Unmanned aerial systems struck nearly 1,400 enemy targets over the past 24 hours
Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck 1,394 Russian military targets over the past 24 hours.
Among the enemy targets and personnel struck were:
- 387 military personnel, 155 of whom were killed;
- 30 drone launch sites;
- 12 radar stations, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and communications equipment;
- 74 vehicles;
- 8 artillery systems;
- 119 enemy UAVs of the “copter,” “wing,” “Shahed,” and “Gerbera” types;
- 2 naval vessels.
Thus, in a single day, Ukrainian units struck a wide range of Russian military targets, including personnel, equipment, artillery, reconnaissance assets, electronic warfare systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Unmanned Systems Forces also released overall statistics for August.
From August 1 to 28, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck 52,808 enemy targets. Among them were 9,859 Russian troops.
“Since the beginning of August (August 1–28), units of the Unmanned Systems Forces group have struck 52,808 enemy targets, 9,859 of which were enemy personnel,” the Unmanned Systems Forces reported.
The statistics indicate the large-scale use of unmanned systems by the Ukrainian Defense Forces to strike Russian troops, equipment, and military infrastructure.

On the night of August 29, in Russia’s Rostov Oblast, drones attacked one of the logistics facilities belonging to the Ozon marketplace. The attack caused a small fire at the facility.
On the morning of August 28, drones attacked an oil refinery in Yaroslavl. After the strike, a large-scale fire broke out on the refinery’s grounds, and reports of Russian air defense systems in action were received from the city.
As a reminder, the Orsk oil refinery in the Orenburg region of Russia completely halted operations following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
As a reminder, the Russian oil refinery “Orsknefteorgsintez” halted oil processing following a Ukrainian drone attack that took place on August 11.
