Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil depot and enemy logistics targets

On the night of 27 February, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the “Luhanska” oil depot in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. The facility was used to supply Russian occupying forces.

According to official confirmation from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strike caused a large-scale fire, with the full extent of the damage still being assessed.

In addition, Ukrainian forces targeted fuel and lubricant storage sites near Mariupol, Novotoretske, and Kopteve in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, as well as an enemy UAV control point near Raiske on temporarily occupied territory in Kherson region.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue systematic operations aimed at weakening the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor.

Earlier, reports indicated that an oil depot near Alchevsk caught fire and a substation was also struck.

The Kursk operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been ongoing for six months, during which Russia has reportedly lost around 40,000 soldiers.

Previously, in Kharkiv, enemy airstrikes on the night of 6 February damaged the city’s largest market and a transport enterprise. No serious injuries were reported, though there were some casualties.

On that night, Russia launched 77 Shahed strike drones and various types of imitation UAVs from directions including Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Shatalovo.
