Defense forces struck a frigate carrying Kalibr missiles in Novorossiysk
Overnight, operators from the Active Operations Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate, as part of a joint operation with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, struck infrastructure at theRussian naval base in Novorossiysk and the enemy frigate “Admiral Essen” (Project 11356).
As a result of the precision strikes, a fire broke out on the ship’s deck superstructure. The vessel carries “Kalibr” cruise missiles, which the aggressor state constantly uses to strike Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

In Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, Russian Federation, on the night of September 8–9, four people, including a child, were killed as a result of the failure of Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems during an attack by Ukrainian drones. Another 29 residents of the city were injured, three of whom are in critical condition.
