Defense forces struck a Russian oil refinery and military equipment
The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a series of strikes against key Russian military and infrastructure targets, including an oil refinery in Orsk and military equipment in several regions of the Russian Federation. As a result, fires were reported, and enemy military equipment and support facilities were damaged, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of April 30 and the day before, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a series of strikes on critical Russian infrastructure and military logistics facilities, inflicting losses both in the rear and directly in areas where equipment and command posts were deployed.
In particular, the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Orsk, Orenburg Oblast, Russian Federation, was struck. A fire broke out on the refinery’s premises following the strike. According to reports, the plant produces over 30 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel, and its annual refining capacity reaches 6.6 million tons of crude oil. The facility is directly involved in supplying the Russian army.
Separately, there are reports of Russian Mi-28 and Mi-17 helicopters being hit near the village of Babki in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian forces also destroyed a Tor-M2 air defense missile system near Oleksandrivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In addition, a strike was carried out against the command post of an enemy artillery brigade in Lysychansk in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, as well as against an ammunition depot near Kremenivka in the occupied part of the Donetsk region. Separately, the base of Russian boats in the Black Sea was struck.
The Defense Forces note that the assessment of the losses inflicted is still ongoing, but emphasize the systematic nature of such operations. Ukrainian units continue to strike critical enemy targets aimed at reducing its military potential.
The occupiers are shelling Vovchansk in an attempt to capture the city and its surroundings, according to the "Forpost" brigade.
Ukrainian troops recently advanced in the Donetsk region. This refers to the area between Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, where the Defense Forces were able to improve their positions.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost approximately 1,271,350 troops. In the last 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 950 occupiers.
